I want to do OER/ZTC work, but I'd like to work in a group. What do I need to know?

Answer

We love collaboration and more hands makes lighter work, but there are a few things to be aware of before you make that choice.

Things to know:

  1. Have an agreement with all colleagues that you are going to do the work in collaboration.
  2. Make a rough plan for what work you anticipate is required for your OER/ZTC project.
    1. Decide who will be responsible for what aspects of the project
    2. How will you communicate about the work?
  3. Once you have a plan in place, each person involved in the project should complete the OER/ZTC Grant Application choosing OER Author for your project in order to allow for more details of the project to be shared.
